It is designed for years of continuous operation. The unique "Walking Beam" design allows the system to be less sensitive to minor changes in the corrugated dimensions. lantech c300 case erectors The C-300 was developed to minimize machine jams, the number one problem with most case formers. Our research found that almost all jams can be traced directly to two main cause: irregular case blanks, and the mechanical forces of opening a case, folding the flaps and moving the case through the machine. The C-300 delivers optimal control at all these critical control points in the case forming process. Case blanks are placed on the belt driven, walk-in magazine. Then the C-300’s innovative, hinged pick-up frame extends to pick up a blank, firmly gripping two panel sides. The pick-up frame then retracts, bending 90 degrees at the hinge to open the case. After the case is opened, the pick-up frame remains stationary and continues to hold the case securely as both minor flaps and then both major flaps are folded. The case is then moved into the exit drive where it is taped on the bottom.
